The Story Behind the Person Holding the Camera

“I believe humor and photography share the same kind of magic:
both make moments lighter, more honest — and unforgettable.”

When I left my roots as a teenager, a part of me stayed behind. Being the outsider became normal — and somewhere in that space, photography became more than a hobby. It became my language. A way to feel, to understand, and to create closeness — without saying a word.
With a camera in my hand, I rediscovered something I had been missing: connection — to people, to moments, and to myself.

Today, I’m married to my wonderful wife Souma, who supports me more than she realizes or would ever admit. What started as a quiet companion — my camera — became my way of telling stories: softly, never perfect, but always honest and never staged. It became the voice I give to moments, so they can say: We stay.
And I’d be lying if I said this is “just a job.” It’s so much more. I truly enjoy what I do. With a touch of humor, I get to work in the most beautiful places in the world — surrounded by people who trust me with one of the most important days of their lives. How could I not feel grateful?
I’ll spare you the clichés like “I’m reliable and professional.” That should be the minimum. What you get is something else: honesty, sincerity — me, from the first conversation to the very last moment.

Today, I photograph weddings all around the world. But the heart behind it never changes: the search for those moments that truly matter — in a look, in a speech, in a hug, or even in the silence in between. Moments that will never return, yet continue to live on in an image.

My Journey

I didn’t just pick up a camera;

I didn’t just pick up a camera; I picked up a way to speak to the world. Leaving my home as a teenager meant leaving a part of myself behind — yet photography became the bridge that helped me rediscover it. It allowed me to connect, to remember, and to share pieces of my story in a language everyone understands.

Shot my first wedding

Shooting my first wedding was a rush of emotions — nervous excitement, overwhelming joy, and the quiet weight of responsibility. I still remember the moment before that very first click, realizing I wasn’t just documenting a day, but an entire chapter of someone’s life. That experience showed me the true magic of storytelling through a lens — turning raw emotions, fleeting glances, and honest moments into memories that outlast time. From that day on, it stopped being “just a job.” It became the moment I knew I had found my calling.

Got Married: I found the missing piece of my puzzle

I found my wife, Souma. Marrying her wasn’t just a celebration of love; it was discovering a part of myself I didn’t know was missing. That day wasn’t just a moment — it was the beginning of a life built on partnership, understanding, and a kind of connection that quietly shapes everything.

This experience changed the way I see relationships — and the way I tell stories. It taught me to look for the unspoken moments, the quiet gestures, the kind of authenticity that truly defines a bond.
That’s why every couple I work with inspires me not just to take photos, but to capture the essence of something uniquely theirs.

Still traveling

When something fulfills you, you simply know it’s real.
It’s the joy you can spark in others — and for me, that’s what photography is all about. It’s also why I love traveling so deeply.
If I can create this feeling all over the worldwhy wouldn’t I? The landscapes, the cultures, the people I meet — they’re what ignite the magic and make my job even more beautiful than it already is. And the best part?
There’s always more to discover. Always more to feel. Always more to tell.
